With hopes and intentions to contribute to and improve Wilmington's Quaker Hill neighborhood, the client repurposed this run-down property, which previously contained a laundro-mat, liquor store, and apartments on the second floor. Alongside Breckstone Architecture, they transformed it into a new art gallery, event space, and pop-up shop to serve the local community. The spaces are intended to provide opportunities for growth to aspiring artists and entrepreneurs in the area. They are designed to function as art galleries, communal event spaces where classes can be held, as well as temporary shops to give a leg-up to emerging local entrepreneurs.
